Dan & Becky Waldron took over as owners of The UPS Store on Circle Blvd in March of 2003. Previously, it had been a Mail Boxes Etc. since 1996. Mike Davis is the manager of The UPS Store, and he oversees operations and handles freight shipments. He is from Corvallis and has worked in the shipping industry since 1997. Dan, Becky, and Mike want everyone to know that The UPS Store does more than mail. They provide a flurry of services from secure, private mailboxes to packaging and shipping services and from document processing and printing to custom rubber stamps, engraving, and notary services. History of The UPS Store
The Mail Boxes Etc.® concept was introduced in 1980 as an alternative to the post office. Throughout its evolution it has continued to define and lead the business services category it created. In 2001, UPS acquired MBE. In 2003, the two companies introduced The UPS Store program to allow a re-branding of the U.S. network and also set lower maximum retail prices for UPS shipping services. Together, The UPS Store and Mail Boxes Etc. centers comprise more than 5,500 franchised locations around the world.
