Greg Leytem grew up in San Francisco, surrounded by a very strong Italian influence. After moving to Corvallis, it became incredibly apparent to him that this town needed a good source for quality Italian goods. He discovered Basetti’s, a small Italian Deli with variable hours, and a limited selection of meats and cheeses.
When the time came for Basetti to move on, Greg decided the store couldn’t go with him. Purchasing an Italian deli was a logical transition for Greg since he had been a meat cutter for nearly 25 years. Basetti’s became Natalia and Cristoforo’s, and now carries a much wider array of goods; ranging from meats and cheeses, to wines, pastas, olives, oils and vinegars, and Italian sweets. One of the biggest additions to the business was the introduction of Italian sandwiches, some of the best in the area.
Although slightly limited by space, Greg is looking forward to expanding his business to carry hot sandwiches, a greater wine selection, espresso, and some Italian pastries.

To celebrate our 3 year anniversary we decided to have lunch at Natalia & Cristoforo's. The prices are more expensive compared to the average price for a sandwich in Corvallis. However I doubt that the average sandwich in Corvallis is of comparable quality. The meats are excellent and the owner is friendly.

Fusilli col Buco -
This pasta is the most fun to eat - especially with kids! It's tasty, and fun to play with, I make all of my friends try it. I love this store - it has a great feeling, and the owner is really friendly.
