Ted Cox, a Corvallis resident since 1973, graduated from OSU with a masters. Having come to like Corvallis as a commmunity, he decided to open up Old World Deli shortly after his graduation.
Old World Deli is a Corvallis tradition since 1977. It is located in the Old World Center, a small shopping mall with a European atmosphere and a unique brick floor. The deli has featured Oregon Trail Brewery ales since 1986. Old World features an esoteric menu with sandwiches and entrees.
Interesting side notes:
The building runs on green power (in this case solar power).
They have belly dancing on Wednesday.
Officially chili champions of Corvallis from 1996.

The enchiladas are to die for , their employees are friendly , and the selection of beer is out of the ballpark!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, the chili is good, the lasagna is good, but the sandwiches are out of this world.
